My new phone!! Because of this new fella I wasted more than a day of my revision time, I just couldn”t stop fondling with it… wahahha. Its a present bought by none other than my dearest wt… thank you dear! =D

Some little of my opinion on this phone after 2 days of usage:
I have never owned such slim phones before, used to lean more to the musculine side and buy phones that looked more manly (now my xda 2i is for sale, if you are interested). Heh. Even though it looks fragile, the Samsung U700 feels rather sturdy. The entire screen portion is coated with mirror effect and hence it is an ultimate finger print magnet… From the image you can see the usual CALL and END button, they looked like button but it is actually touch sensitive, unlike normal phones, there is no feedback when you press them. Right above these two buttons are another 4 touch sensitive buttons, they will light up only when the phone is active. One thing real bad about these sensitive buttons – one accidental touch and function will trigger. So, if I happen to chat with you and the line goes off without me saying goodbye, it might be because my face accidentally swiped against the END button. Nonetheless, I think that these touch sensitive buttons make the phone stand out from the rest, gives a little futuristic touch.
Other than these not so nice points, this phone is a pure beauty (even more so when it is given by someone so special).

Given the rates of video calls now (I’m using SingTel), I don’t think there are any disadvantages of using the 3G service for video calls – they are not any expensive than your normal voice calls. But instead we spiced up our communication lifestyle by quite a bit. =]

yup video call is quite handy too..when im renovationing the house i alway get wk to video call me to show me the latest process..gee
