I went to wash my car today and I was damn excited because I just got a new product that was quite highly rated by the car detailing community. Took me about 2 hours to wash, quick detail and apply protectant for the interior. Quite satisfied with the results too.

Then I went to meet dear for dinner in the evening. I traveled by TPE to avoid the usual peak hour jam at PIE. I was so freakin proud of my phit as I cruise along the highway because of that deep gloss that glows within her shiny black pearl paint. Ah…

That moment of happiness only lasted throughout that 20mins drive to Tampines. Upon reaching her place, I got out of the car to admire the shine again and to my FREAKING HORROR… CHIPPED PAINT! OF ALL PLACES!! THE FREAKING BONNET !!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHH…

Immediately when I got home, I went to google for solutions for such blemishes.

In the end I took a quick drive to toa payoh to get a bottle of touch up paint from a seller and hope to repair the paint by myself. Advices were given that we should try to live with these kinda problems as it is part and parcel of owning and maintaining a car… and also NOT to expect a surface as smooth as before…but then, my phit is only less than 5months old and I just managed to get over with scratches and swirl marks. Sob.

Sigh… Wish me luck -.-
