The second day started with a quick breakfast buffet because we were told to reach the lobby before 0845hrs (damn early) in order to catch the snorkelling trip timing.

The buffet restaurant… we were suppose to get our welcome drink from them, but we didnt.

Simple breakfast…

All ready to set off =)
We have already booked the morning slot from 9am to 3.30pm the day before. The snorkeling package is RM60 per pax and it includes the gear, life jacket and towel. The itinerary only includes 3 different sites namely Coral Island, Marine Park and Renggis Island.
We were approached by another man (I dont think he belongs to the resort staff) at the lobby, who offered us another package @ RM80 per pax but they will bring us to 6 different snorkeling sites which includes Coral Island, Genting Beach, Salang Village, Monkey Bay, Marine Park and Renggis Island. The good thing is, we would travel by speedboat instead of ferry if we chose this expensive package. We thought it was worth it and hence we decided to change.

The one on the right belongs to the resort, we booked from them initially until we changed to the package the man offered (left)

Their advertisement… 6 snorkeling sites.

While waiting for the rest to come…
There were 10 of us on the boat including the boatman, 6 young guys and girls from Melaca and a south argentinian lady.
Pictures best describes the trip.

1st site: Coral island… fine sandy beach, similar to Redang”s

And clear waters..

shes excited =)

Just came up from the first site…

2nd site: Genting Beach… the waters were rough here. I had a hard time keeping myself afloat without the jacket. The 3 of us who went down without jacket were the first to get back to the boat.. haha its way too tiring.

The waves hit us just before i hit the shutter.

Some corals taken using the disposable underwater camera…

Don”t know whats that.. looked like a sponge

Some of the more common fishes there…

Had to dive down a little to take this shot… not enough breath to look through the viewfinder and aim… so, just anyhow. heh.

3rd site, Salang village. Went there for a little break…

Having her ice-cream

We went to swim a little while waiting for the rest to return

She went to hang our towels on the boat”s railing but one of it flew off, and needless to say, I had to wrap myself in a wet towel for the rest of the day.

Self-pic…

Our distorted heart =P

Love this shot.

4th site: Monkey bay. The boatman told us the corals here are mostly damaged.. so we didnt get down.

5th site: Marine park. Very very deep water here… not much corals but the fishes are damn freaking huge.

This diver (i think he works at the Marine Park) took this pic for us… nemo!

Heh, cant see your face lar!

Last site: Renggis island. very near to our resort and the water is relatively shallow… and thats me, damn ugly

Some lucky shots..

Sea urchin!

All of us… (and damn i forgot to take a picture with the boatman, he is a nice uncle)
The trip ended at round 4pm and I got sun-burnt quite badly… ad”s burnt was not that bad because she was wearing the life jacket most of the time.

Burnt and cut my toes… i think i kicked the rock at Renggis Island.
We went back to our rooms to wash up and applied aloe-vera skin soothing cream all over and then slept until the sun sets (ad says she wanna avoid the sun and i agree the sunlight looks scarier than usual. lol) before we set off for our dinner.
We found another buffet style restaurant and it cost RM80 per person, very expensive but we did not have much choices.

We had our dinner here

Nothing very special… the pastries were nice tho.
Oh yes, similar shit happened that night and I squashed another mozzie (ad argues that was not a mozzie but I got bitten again!!). Bleah.

Not a mozzie meh?
Nothing interesting happened on the third day because we had to bid farewell to the island, we doubt we will be visiting Tioman again because we had explored most of the places of interests (at least thats what we think).
So its just pictures after pictures… before we reach Singapore…

Picture infront of the lobby

Already on the shuttlebus back to the jetty
Thats about all…
Well… all good things come to an end… I would rate this trip 3.8 out of 5…hmmm not bad lar =)

Thank you for reading. =D

Confirm that is not a mozzie…haha…
seems like a nice close-to-nature experience very different setting from those Batam-like shopping places . & i like the "love this shot" photo (:
Yup! Go there if you are thinking of a quick getaway after your exams… =D
